Helping build stronger communities
Picton High School: Business week
Business Week offers the opportunity for students to acquire the skills necessary to run their own company.
In an exciting one week intensive program students had the opportunity to experience what it is like to run a company and make decisions which have real outcomes.
We were pleased to sponsor this program and to see our local students learning valuable skills such as teamwork, leadership and entrepreneurialism.
Tahmoor Uniting Men's Shed
Our apprentices showed their commitment to our local community through their partnership with the Tahmoor Uniting Men’s Shed.
The apprentices built new pathways, retaining walls, and an awning for the group’s new shed facility.
They also showed off their skills by completing plumbing and electrical works.
Thirlmere Festival of Steam
The Thirlmere Festival of Steam is a family community event which we believe helps develop economic growth throughout the Wollondilly area.
This event provides a great day in the community, where families are the core and fundamental pillars of society.
We are proud sponsors of such a fantastic event.
Wollondilly Dementia Cafe
The Dementia Café has been set up as a safe and informal way for carers and people living with dementia to access support within the Wollondilly area.
It provides normalisation and builds on social connections for the people living with dementia and their cares.
People attending can share valuable information, support, wisdom, tears and frustrations over a cup of tea or coffee that we are proud to provide.
Wollondilly Advertiser: Design for an Ad
We’ve been proudly supporting Design an Ad for the last four years.
In this competition local primary and secondary students design an advertisement for a local business.
We believe that Design an Ad allows students to develop their creativity whilst also providing exposure for a number of local businesses.
Students gain knowledge about the local community and begin to develop strong community relationships.
Wollondilly Riding for the Disabled
Riding for the Disabled Association of Australia enables people with disabilities to experience enjoyment, challenge and a sense of achievement through participation in equestrian activities to improve their quality of life, attain personal goals and develop life skills.
We’ve provided funding towards the building of a new fence that was in desperate need of repair.
