Tahmoor Coking Coal welcomes the Independent Planning Commission’s conditional approval of the Tahmoor South Project.
This is a positive outcome for our employees, local businesses and the broader community and reaffirms the important role the mining of high-quality metallurgical coal plays in Australian manufacturing.
We will now take time to review the IPC’s conditions of consent and continue to progress our refinancing, which is in the advanced stages of due diligence.
In the meantime, we will be maintaining operations as usual in the Western Domain where we are mining the remainder of supply on our existing consent.
